Nanogram|Studio presents Candy Chang’s Before I Die Wall. A collaborative of young architectural designers dubbed ‘Nanogram’ re-activate vacant lot in downtown Phoenix using repurposed materials in a pocket park for the public good.

step 1. Open image in Photoshop

step 2. Convert to black and white Image –> Mode –> Grayscale. Discard color information.

step 3  Adjust Brightness/Contrast: Image –> Adjust –> Brightness/Contrast

Step 4. Resize: Image –> Image Size –> Set Resolution to 300 Pixels/Inch.

Step 5: Apply Halftone Filter: Filter –> Pixelate –> Color Halftone. Set Max Radius to 30 (Pixels), Channels 1-4 all to 45 degrees.

Step 6. Laser engrave it!
